There is still a huge knowledge gap particularly in Africa and other parts of the developing world. However there’s a growing interest in the tax justice agenda, hence the need to bridge the knowledge gap in several areas of tax justice in Africa. This means that the media, both local and international, have a crucial role in bringing the tax justice agenda from the fray to the fore of public discourse. Apart from encouraging the coverage of stories on tax justice, Tax Justice Network- Africa through the International Tax Justice Academy, recognises the role of the media as agenda-setters and framers of issues in the public domain. It therefore invites members of the press to register to attend the week-long training on ethics, tax issues and illicit financial flows.
